A quick bite after a round of golf. The hamburger and the fries were fresh and hot. The chicken sandwich was good too. Not much for ambience.

Staff and food was great. It was highlight over the poor service everywhere else. There was a great band playing as well

Right off the bat and at the risk of reveling one of the best hidden secrets in this area, this cafe is awesome! Well appointed in a flying theme with views. The golfers come and go so the seating is never too crowded. The atmosphere is casual and lively. For the food and service. Limited menu but very good, well priced and plenty. Recommend any burger or the grilled avocado chicken wrap combo. I have never had them but each time friends have the beer battered onion rings they say it's among the best. I like the simplicity and choices. So far everything I have had was great. The service is always friendly and awesome. You get your food at the counter and they will make your order to your request. Realize this is primarily a cafe serving the turn (9th hole) and 19th green but a wonderful place to have lunch for nearby businesses. And now you know! Tip- the parking lot will be full from golfers but you will have plenty of room to sit. There is outdoor sitting as well.

Heard good things about this hidden gem from Yelpers and golfer friends. I had to try the Bomber Burger. Best burger I've had in years. Perfectly cooked, done exactly (medium well, hold the tomato, lettuce and onion) as ordered. Fries were incredible, heaping portion and crisp and hot. One man show, cook and order taker but handled every thing with ease. Can't say enough about this place. I will definitely be back. Even if you don't golf, it's worth the drive.

The Bomber Burger is awesome but the beer battered onion rings are to die for! It's a little know secret by the local golfers. However, public is welcome.

When my manager asked if I wanted to join her for lunch at the golf course, I didn't have very high expectations. So, I was pretty surprised when we walked in and the place was nicely decorated to fit an airplane theme. I ordered the Bomb Burger (bacon & cheese) combo and it came out to be a little over $10, which included fries and a drink. Even though the person making our food was understaffed and was handling everything himself (running the register, taking phone orders, AND making the food), the food still turned out spectacular. Perfectly crisp fries and a delicious burger that had perfectly cooked buns with crispy edges. Well worth the value! Plenty of seating and wasn't crazy busy with the occasional golfers wandering in. There's outdoor seating as well so you can enjoy the luscious green view of the golf course if you please. P.S. You can even call ahead to place your order in!

I'm not much of a golfer, but I came here for my high school's 10 year reunion and had no idea that the Mather Golf Course had a cafe with a full bar. Friendly staff, cheap drinks, clean, and it was the perfect venue for our reunion. If you're here to golf what's not to like? Come here and grab a beer after (or before) golfing with your buddies. There is also a TV so seems like the perfect spot for guys day out. Golf, booze, food, then end the day relaxing and watching sports on their TV.

So can we talk? I like cheap lunches. I like reasonably good, respectful and polite service. I like retired military people. So, I like this place. In fact, it makes me miss the Cold War. What a happy and simple time it was ;-) You can get a burger or basic sandwich for under $5. And for me, that's perfect. With the extra cash, go pick up a Mather baseball cap at the pro shop in the same building. Cheapest lunch around!
